James Drews. Vice President, Sales. Age 35. Prior to co-founding VESTA GROUP, James founded and managed a commercial fishing operation in northern California for five years. James moved to Costa Rica in 1996 and began his real estate career here by co-founding Dominical Realty. In 2001, the company obtained a Coldwell Banker independent franchise, and three years later partnered with another Coldwell Banker franchise in Costa Rica to become Vesta Group, the Master-Franchise-holder for the entire country. As a member of the Global Association of Realtors and the U.S.-based National Association of Realtors, the Vesta Group Master Franchise has already grown to ten (10) offices throughout the country, with several more currently in process. Meanwhile, commission revenue in the Coldwell Banker Vesta Group Dominical office has increased to over $2 million annually.

First and foremost I wish to thank you for all the time and distance you have taken us on this visit. You are a very hard working and honest man who we all (Tim and Vicky Included) respect and appreciate. This trip has opened our eyes to a land that is full of beauty and wonder. It has also opened our eyes to the way things operate and exist here, unlike how we are accustomed back in the states. I would not wish to navigate "your neck fo the woods" - or should I say jungle, with out you in it.
I know for a fact that TIm and Vicky are headed home to liquidate and soon return to rent for a few months in order to find the right place to build or buy. They too loved your professionalism and will wish to continue to work with you as well. I ,on the other hand, have a lot to think about, and also need to consider, before making such a move. My partner James and I will revisit Costa Rica together as I need his willingness and desire to match mine. I also have loose ends to tie up back home before making such a move. One of the favorite properties you showed me was the home on the mountain side next to the waterfall. I built large water features and parks for most my life and truly understood the beauty of such a place.
I am very mixed about returning home. Costa Rica has, and will always, leave a warm and sunny place in my heart and life. However I miss my family dearly and look forward to being back with them.

Jimmy couldn''t have been a better guide or nicer person to deal with through out the whole process. He stayed in touch in a timely fashion when we had questions and if he didn''t know the answer, he made sure to find it and to alleviate any anxieties we may have had during the whole proceedings.
