My Name is Bea. I am a registered nurse and my husband is a firefighter retired.  We have lived in Costa Rica for 12 years and have known John for 8 years.  We have been on the receiving end of his astounding talents as a broker and have been fortunate to become acquainted personally as well as benefit professionally.   We will not be able to touch on all the remarkable things we have come to know about John. This might take several long evenings in a comfortable chair, but we sincerely hope to leave you without any doubt as to the integrity of the man.

We are in the business of developing small farms to be shared by both humans and the inhabitants of the jungle.  Our first farm we bought 13 years ago and spent our time learning what was needed to keep the monkeys and other wildlife safe and unmolested.  When we first decided to sell a few parcels, John was more than experienced in showing us how to create sustainable development nestled next to our 90 acre reserve.  He also brought us 90 percent of the people who bought into Seabreeze Farms. And the type of people he brought to us; we are forever grateful.  Our farms are not just a way to make some money, but a home where we release our rescue animals. We fall in love with every tree and critter, love the country and it' people and found John and his wife Kris to be the same. We are so fortunate to have met such an intuitive, intelligent, aware, caring person such as John. 

John applies himself to his work, his friends, and his projects with an energy that is amazing, captivating, and not common place.  He can converse with the most intelligent of people or talk easy with people less complicated and everyone I have seen him deal with including ourselves and our clients feel John gives his best to the task at hand.  We have been working with Realtors since we moved to Costa Rica in 1998.  We have met some very nice people who are interested in preserving the country also, but we can honestly say, without a doubt, that John Abrams is the most talented broker we have met in Costa Rica.  He brings a quality not found easily.  John has proven to be a great source of information needed to develop properties correctly and kindly. His skills and knowledge in our region has proven critical and beneficial to both buyers and sellers. 

When we deal with John he conducts himself in a professional manner. He constantly set goals and completed them effortlessly for us and others we know.   We are very content and impressed with his work. We are awestruck every time we have an opportunity to get a little more personal.  For someone to listen to his ideas and projects is to know a person who cares about his community, the people in it, the environment, the many different projects he funds and supports, such as schools and lifeguards, education opportunities for underprivileged children, clothing, food, housing, are only a few of the generous contributions he makes. 

Words like amazing, incredible, awesome, excellent, outstanding usually assist in the description about John.  Amazing heart, incredible honesty, awesome ideas, amazing standards, outstanding broker, excellent person, John radiates positive energy to all.  John Abrams is a good man to know. My name is Jennifer. I am a registered nurse. My husband Clay is a program director for internationally-recognized wellness center.   We live in Southern California.  We will soon retire to Costa Rica. We have known John Abrams for many years. We will share what have observed and what we know about John.   

John truly fits the description of a “gentleman”.  Since meeting John he has been a guest in our home and has spent considerable time with our children telling them tales which always have a moral to the story; such as how to keep your best foot forward at all times and be a good and upstanding person.  His sense of humor and his openness has a way of causing you to want to spend more time with him. 

When we flew to Costa Rica to look at property John introduced us to the community.  We were treated to a beautiful cabin on “The Point” overlooking the ocean and introduced to many of his friends and associates, to include some of the more influential people in the region.  He introduced us to the Chief of Police and many of the local town folk.  We were able to see firsthand how John interacts with others in the community always greeting those he comes into contact with a hug and a smile. 

We were shown land parcels, single family homes and residential developments in progress. It became clear that John supports sustainable development and respects the land and culture. John is clearly an expert in his field. We learned from watching John and speaking with others about John that his deeds go far beyond real estate ventures.  It is widely-known that he has contributed his own capital and helped raise additional funds to support under-privileged children, under-funded country schools, the Dominical Lifeguard Program and the Dominical Police Department.   

John cares about the children of the community.  We saw many children ‘light up’ when they saw John sitting down for lunch or walking down the street. They run up gleefully to greet him.  There is no doubt but that John is a rare person.

John identified just the perfect piece of property for us to build our wellness center. Moreover, John introduced us to a whole new world where our lives are enhanced and our interests enriched.  John introduced us to the beauty and magic of Costa Rica and its people.
